Dress Code and Directions

Dress Code

At Perry Park Country Club, we try hard to make everyone’s visit a memorable one.  In the tradition of private clubs we have established certain standards that we ask our guests to observe.  Members are asked to take responsibility for the dress of their guests by informing them of our policy.

This policy sets forth dress requirements which apply to PPCC members and their guests who play golf or use the Manor House socially. It is not meant to be restrictive or suggest total uniformity, but rather to arrive at a general level of fashion that is socially acceptable to the membership.
Golf Course Attire

Proper golf attire should be of the type traditionally worn for the game of golf, not tennis or general athletics. It must be worn at all times while playing on the course or using the driving range and practice areas. Proper golfing attire for men and women is delineated below:

Men: Shirts should have a collar, turtleneck or mock turtleneck and sleeves and must be tucked in. Tailored slacks or shorts of mid-thigh length (no more than three (3) inches above the knee) are appropriate. Tee shirts are not permitted.

Women: Medium length skirts and tailored shorts (no more than three (3) inches above the knee) or slacks with appropriate blouse or shirt.

Footwear: Golf shoes approved by the Golf Pro or appropriate spike-less footwear must be worn for play.

Restrictions: Blue jeans and blue jean material, "painter" pants, bib overalls, cut offs, tennis shorts, short shorts, halters, bare midriff tops, athletic tank tops, jogging or exercise attire and similar clothing not designed for golf are not permitted.

Club House Attire

Within the Grille Room,
dress for social occasions is proper golf attire, however blue jeans are also permitted. For the Dining Room a somewhat dressier look is encouraged; a collared sport shirt with slacks for gentlemen and casual dress clothing for women are suggested. Proper golf attire is required during peak season (May-September).

Certain special occasions may set forth tie and jacket requirements or, in more casual settings (Western Night, etc.), blue denim jeans may be permitted. Members will be notified in advance of specific dress requirements or relaxation of restrictions for special occasions.
